About Us

SurvivingProstateCancerwithoutSurgery.org was founded on July 2, 2004 by Bradley Hennenfent, M.D.

Dr. Hennenfent believes that many of the things patients really need to know about prostate cancer are not available to them. There are many controversies regarding prostate cancer of which patients need to be made aware. Prostate cancer research is inadequately funded. Very few quality medical articles are published about prostate cancer, and the data is often distorted by biased interpreters.

The treatments for prostate cancer, especially surgical treatments, are sometimes very harmful, possibly even lethal, and there is a great deal of controversy about the risks and benefits of radiation treatments versus surgical treatments.

SurvivingProstateCancerwithoutSurgery.org is a private organization. It does not have tax-exempt standing and is mostly or entirely funded by Dr. Hennenfent.

Dr. Hennenfent would eventually like to establish SurvivingProstateCancerWithoutSurgery.org as an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
